Peninsular Cylinder Looks to C2CRM to Foster Sales Process Improvement through Use of Better Sales Tools

Why C2CRM?

After evaluating many CRM vendors, Peninsular selected Clear C2 and its C2CRM software to address its business pain points. Clear C2 articulated that it can seamlessly integrate with JobBoss and leverage the imported data into the sales process. The Business Problem

Peninsular Cylinder was looking for the same smooth and efficient operations in its own sales organization. What was lacking were the necessary sales tools to facilitate process improvement. Due to the limitations of its previous CRM system, Peninsular Cylinder used it as a company and contact management system without any sales data or pipeline analysis.

“I was looking for something more real time and robust so I explored the options in our original ERP system (JobBOSS)” according to Bill Tyler, National Sales & Marketing Manager for Peninsular Cylinder. “I found that to be quite expensive as I would have to purchase an additional 12 seats which would have been over 100k in the initial investment and then about 60k per year operating costs.” Therefore, it was time to find a more suitable CRM system to address their need for better sales tools and data.

C2CRM Integration with Epicor

Peninsular Cylinder’s first C2CRM integration project was to update C2CRM throughout the day with data from their JobBOSS ERP system. Clear C2 automated the synchronization of Companies, Contacts, Quotes, Orders, and Shipments daily.

In 2022 Peninsular decided to migrate their ERP system to Epicor. Peninsular reached out to Clear C2 to duplicate the current JobBoss integration with the Epicor application. Clear C2 was happy to assist, and proceeded to duplicate all the synchronization functionality from JobBOSS to Epicor at no additional cost.

The current solution synchronizes all of the new/updated Companies, Contacts, and core business transactions from Epicor’s ERP System to C2CRM automatically and seamlessly. This exposes all users to a 360-degree dashboard presentation of daily transaction updates (quotes, orders & shipments) throughout the day (including YTD/MTD sales comparisons with previous years).

The Result and Peninsular Cylinder’s Vision

Peninsular Cylinder’s sales staff can now see quotes, orders, and shipments current to same-day business transactions for all of their customers in addition to their customers’ contact information in C2CRM. They have it set up as a parent/child relationship as their products are sold through distribution with drop ships to their customers.

Peninsular’s National Sales & Marketing Manager, Bill Tyler explained, “Our customer data is extremely intense, and C2CRM is able to transfer all of this data to a cloud-based CRM system, resulting in a very user-friendly and efficient “one stop access” method of seeing customer business, and activity. My regional staff has visibility of their customer activity through dashboards that they can set up and manage to their liking.”
