How to scan a business card in C2CRM
- Download the mobile app onto your device (active C2CRM users).
- Log into the C2CRM app using your desktop credentials.
- Under the “Main Menu,” select “Card Reader.”
- Select whether you are creating a contact or company record.
- Click the camera icon to use your camera on your smartphone (image below).
Our mobile app uses OCR (optical character recognition) technology. The app recognizes printed or written text and translates it to digital business cards. This means you scan a business card, and the technology extracts the person’s data and converts it into a digital data format.
